SA Tuscan's Asti di Bella Vita

ARI# 31577922   D.O.B. 10/9/2008  (11 yrs)

Huacaya, Female, Proven | Light Fawn

Full Peruvian
Sire: Sunny Mesa's Tuscan Gold | ARI# 1197709  | Light Fawn |
Dam: SA Accoya Averanda | ARI# 30556119  | White

Asti is another striking Tuscan Gold female named after that sweet, light, bubbly Italian champagne. Asti has presence and style wtih upright carriage and level topline. Her fleece is buttery soft, bright, crimpy and consistent in style throughout. She possesses the same total coverage as her sire and dam, and she has a spectacular head, just like her sire, with a generous topknot. She has a calm, even temperament and is easy to work with. Asti has easy pregnancies and unassisted deliveries. She is a very attentive mom with good milk to support her crias. Asti at 2 years of age still maintained a fine fleece with micron of 19.4. At 5 years, she sported a 20.2 micron with SD 4.1, C 20.3% and comfort factor still at 97.8, making this fleece grade 1. Fabulous! Now that's lingering fineness! And she was pregnant when this sample was pulled.

Asti's dam, Averanda, is a SA Peruvian Avenger (Royal Fawn) daughter out of Polar Princess, a Peruvian import. Avenger sold at auction for over $400,000 and has sired many show winning alpacas. With all Asti has in her presence, conformation, style and fleece characteristics, she will be a great foundation female for a farm breeding a light program. Or try her with a darker male as her sire has produced multiple black alpacas.
